Savit is available on the web and on the iOS App Store (listed as Savit: From Noise to Insight). It turns recordings, meetings, YouTube links, and web pages into transcripts, summaries, notes, and optional public share pages. Operator: Jason Szesze.
Data we process
- Account. Sign-in uses Clerk. We store a Clerk user id plus the name, email, and profile image Clerk provides.
- App data. Documents, notes, transcriptions, workspaces, chats, subscriptions, and API keys are stored in Convex.
- Recordings and imports. Audio you record or upload is stored in Cloudflare R2 so we can transcribe it and, if you publish, serve a playback link. Transcripts, summaries, and notes are stored in Convex.
- Payments. iOS paid access is Apple In-App Purchase, reconciled with RevenueCat. Monthly and Yearly plans unlock Pro. Apple handles checkout; we receive subscription and entitlement status, not your full payment card number.
Microphone
The iOS app asks for microphone permission when you start an in-app recording.
Public share links
Publishing a document makes it available at a public URL. Anyone with the link can view the title and the summary, transcript, notes, and recording URL we serve for that page. Unpublishing or deleting the document stops the public endpoint from serving it.
Retention and deletion
We keep app data while your account is active. We do not publish a fixed retention period.
You can delete individual documents in the app. That removes the document and its linked notes and transcription records from Savit.
You can request permanent account deletion from Settings → Delete Account. That job deletes the sign-in account data Savit controls, plus your documents, notes, chats, saved integrations, and other app records we store. Cloud recordings in Cloudflare R2 are purged as part of that job.
Deleting your Savit account does not cancel an App Store subscription or trial. Manage or cancel that in Apple Subscriptions (App Store → your account → Subscriptions). Apple and Clerk may keep account or billing records under their own policies.
If you need help with deletion, email jason@follo.dev.
